This time he's provided a list of Technos' Famicom games. For anyone that's a Technos fan, this list should prove to be indispensable. Thanks again, Johnny!
Technos made a grand total of 20 Famicom games (all of them in cartridge format). Most of the games released by Technos for the Famicom were mostly Kunio stuff, but there were also other games like the Double Dragon series, V'Ball and Sugoro Quest as well. This time the game has been sorted in order of release dates (with the exception of unreleased titles), but first, a list of the name changes between Japanese and American versions.Japanese - American
Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun - Renegade
TJC-KN - Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun *Kunio's Soccer is an alternate English title for the game Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball-bu: Soccer-Hen (Nekketsu High Dodgeball Club: Soccer Chapter). I merely felt that the original title was too long. Unreleased: Xain'D Sleena - also known as Solar Warrior or Soldier of Light. Arcade adaptation. The original Arcade version of Solar Warrior was a very cool space-age hybrid of platforming and shoot-em-up. I don't know why Technos didn't release this or Mysterious Stone for the Famicom (they would had been a nice break from their constant barrage of Kunio titles). ^_^ Blockout - Based on the 3D version of Tetris by California Dreams. Technos distributed the Arcade version in America and Japan. Technos also released a Blockout-clone titled Geom Cube for the PS1, and there was a Mega Drive version of Blockout by Electronic Arts. Apparently Blockout was designed by the very same Alexey Pajitnov who created Tetris. Saiyugou Maroku - AKA China Gate. Arcade adaptation. Quasi-platform game based on "Journey to the West" (famous for spawning all that Dragon Ball mess). I found it to be quite dull actually. Nekketsu Yakyuu Kozou (Nekketsu Baseball Youth) - Baseball game starring Kunio and co. It was never released, but Technos eventually made Downtown Nekketsu Baseball Monogatari for the Super Famicom.
